Polo at the Kuala Lumpur Polo Club (KLPC) combines rich tradition with an inclusive approach, welcoming players of all skill levels into a vibrant community of enthusiasts. We offer regular club chukkas three times a week during the playing season, which typically stretches from February to November, fostering a lively and active environment for the sport.

Throughout the season, KLPC hosts a range of prestigious tournaments that draw both local and international players. These tournaments span Low (-2 to 0 goals), Medium (0 to 2 goals) and High (6-8 goals) goal levels, providing members with a diverse array of competitive opportunities to refine their game. Our events attract notable luxury sponsors, enhancing the prestige of each tournament, while we also partner with charitable organizations to support meaningful causes, reinforcing our commitment to community impact.

Our dedication to nurturing new talent is best exemplified by our annual Malaysian Youth Polo Tournament. A highlight on our calendar, this event serves as a competitive platform for young players from our community and welcomes participants from across the globe, which have included Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, India, Pakistan, England and Canada. Known for fostering international connections and skill development, the Malaysian Youth Polo Tournament has earned a prestigious reputation in the international polo community and is endorsed by the Federation of International Polo (FIP).

Another highlight on our polo calendar is the Pink Polo Tournament, an event that unites skilled women players in a celebration of teamwork and camaraderie. This tournament not only showcases the abilities of women in polo, but also raises crucial awareness and funds for breast cancer research, merging the thrill of competition with a heartfelt commitment to a vital cause. 2024’s Pink Polo tournament was hosted in conjunction with Prince Court Medical Center, which featured impactful breast cancer awareness talks, educational sessions and a memorable High Tea, creating a day dedicated to both empowerment and community support.

We also host the KL Academy of Polo Open, a starter league managed by the KL Academy of Polo, our Club’s dedicated polo school. This league is designed to train and support new players, offering a structured environment where they can build their skills and gain competitive experience, paving the way for a new generation to thrive in the sport.
